Changing a flat tire is a very common repair on a bicycle. Here are the steps to fix a flat tire on a bicycle. The first thing you do is disengage your brakes than unscrew the quick reseals skewer so you can take your tire off the frame. After that use your tire lever and take all the air out of the tire, then use the other end of the tier lever to take one bead of the tire off so you can get to the tube. Make sure you check the tube and the inside of the tire for anything that might have caused a hole. Throw away your old tube and get a new one, pump it to give it some form. Place the tire vale in the vale hole and insert the tube into the tire. Once you’ve inserted the tube into the tire look on the sidewall of the tire for amount of PSI to pump the tire to. After you find the amount of PSI use you’re floor pump to pump up the tire. Then place the tire back on the frame and make sure you get the quick release skewer all the way back in the drop outs. Tighten the quick release skewer and put reengaged your bakes, after that the make sure that the brakes don’t rub up against the tire. And that’s all there is to changing a tire.
